NDT Level II Inspector

Penflex, an industrial manufacturing company located in Gilbertsville, PA is looking to bring on an NDT Level II Inspector as a permanent, on site, employee. This role takes place in an indoor office and in a factory. Adequate lighting and ventilation exist in all areas of the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for Penflex’s NDT operation.
  • Prescribe specific NDT techniques and procedures to be utilized.
  • Capable of interpreting and evaluating the results as per codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Participate in the Total Continuous Improvement program.
  • Attend all employee safety meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be currently qualified (or have been qualified in the prior three years) to NDT Level II for visual, and liquid penetrant in accordance with SNT-TC-1A.
  • Successful applicant will have a systematic approach to work, be detail oriented and able to finish assignments with little supervision.
  • Must have experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in with ERP systems good to have.
  • Ability to multi-task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work.
  • Team player willing to work with employees and external customers.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Developed communication skills, verbal and written.
