776 Hastelloy

776 series hose and braid is made with Hastelloy C-276, a superalloy high in nickel, chromium and molybdenum. Its key characteristic is superior corrosion resistance, making it the best option for long service life in aggressive media applications.

One common application is chlorine transfer. Hastelloy C-276, along with Monel 400, are the two metallic options for chlorine transfer hoses per The Chlorine Institute’s Pamphlet 6.
